Current state and development of animal husbandry in the republic of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic

This article discusses the current status and problems in a functioning of the livestock sector of the Republic of Sakha ( Yakutia) in case of economic efficiency. Livestock sub-sectors reserves are identified. The mechanisms to improve material and technical base of the industry are offered. It is substantiated the expediency intensification of cattle through targeted breeding, improving the technological base, changing in the structure of livestock by farm, raise livestock productivity, which will increase the capacity and level of agro industrial complex of the Republic development.
