Modern state of water quality of the Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya rivers

The spatio-temporal changes of the water quality of the Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya rivers have been studied according to the data of Uzhydromet for the period 1990-2019. It was revealed that the water quality of the Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya rivers deteriorates belong the rivers from the source to the downstream. According to the water pollution index, water quality of rivers it belongs to the II class (clean) and III class (moderately polluted) waters.
