Current condition of avifauna Turyanchay reserve and annexed territories

It is established that the modern avifauna of the reserve and surrounding areas includes 113 species (11 orders, 30 families and 59 genuses). 48 species (42.4%) - sedentary, 33 species (29.2%) - arriving for the reproduction of 26 species (23%) - migrants, six species (5.3%) - wintering. The investigated area is located in the three landscapes. Of the 48 resident and 33 species arriving to breed 57 species (54.4%) nest in the tugai forests along the rivers Turyanchay and Goychay. All species included in the list of conventions SITEC, Bonn, Bern, Ramsar and AEWA. 8 species have a global, 48 - European protected status.
