Modern state of the customs regulation in Russia

Customs regulation is one of the main methods of state influence on the foreign economic activity of the country. Thanks to customs regulation, the state ensures the progressive development of the economy, its prosperity, and, as a result, increases the standard of living of the population. The Council of the Eurasian economic Commission annually makes decisions on the application of a zero rate of import customs duty on a number of goods. This measure strengthens the competitiveness of enterprises, reduces the cost of production, promote the development of domestic production.
