Fast neutron therapy: a status report

The first part of the article presents an analysis of the possibilities of clinical application of fast neutron therapy (TBN), technical and statistical data, as well as biological properties of fast neutrons in comparison with other methods of radiotherapy. The situation with clinical application of boron neutron capture therapy (BNZT) is considered. The second part of the article is devoted to the experience of applying TBN to the research reactors FRM I and FRM II of the Technical University of Munich in Garching (Germany).
