Current state of the wildlife in Argut cluster and adjacent territories of the Saylyugemsky National Park

The Sailyugemsky National Park operates successfully, solving the problems of preserving rare and endangered species, including the flagship ones - snow leopard and argali, conservation of general biodiversity and the environment. To the date, the territory of the park covers small areas of the western macroslope of the North Chuysky ridge (Argut cluster with an area of 80 730 hectares) and the northwestern part of the macroslope of the Saylyugem ridge (Saylyugem cluster - 35 050 hectares and Ulandryk cluster - 3 250 hectares). The article presents the results of processing and primary analysis of video materials about vertebrate and invertebrate animals obtained from different collection sites. It also describes the methods for assessing the volume of material obtained, determining the species composition of animals, ecological and biological characteristics of their habitat.
