The modern redistributive institutions: western experience

The article analyzes the modern redistributive institutions in Western countries, both state and non-state. Welfare state represents state redistributive institutions. Various types of welfare state accomplish different strategies of redistribution with different levels of social inequality. Non-state redistributive institutions include Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), stock options system and Basic Income Earth Network’s project. Western experience of redistributive policy could be useful for modern Russia where problem of social inequality is extremely sharp.
