The article is devoted to modern methods of formation of non-verbal communication skills in deaf children. Various approaches are considered that help develop in children with hearing impairments the ability to effectively use gestures, facial expressions, pantomimics and other means of non-verbal communication. The article focuses on the use of sign language, theatrical and gaming techniques, multimedia technologies, tactile communication and symbolic signs. These methods help to improve social adaptation, develop the emotional sphere and increase self-confidence in deaf children. The importance of interaction with parents and specialists for the effective formation of non-verbal communication skills is also emphasized.
