Modern methods of guaranteed and uninterrupted power supply of consumers

The three most common power schemes for industrial facilities are considered. A hybrid scheme with two separate inputs of 10 kV, one input of 0.4 kV, backup power from a diesel generator set and two-stage uninterrupted power supply to especially responsible consumers was considered as a promising power supply scheme. Analyzed the main causes of emergencies in computerized equipment due to the fault of the supply network. The option of ensuring long-term autonomy of electrical equipment (120 minutes) and the method of selecting a UPS for the considered power supply circuit of especially responsible consumers are considered. The presented version of the scheme of the power supply network of industrial facilities is the most universal. It is necessary in case of non-uniform load according to the categories of power supply reliability, the presence of a sensitive load on the quality of electrical energy and the need for long-term uninterrupted operation in case of malfunctions in the power supply system of the facility.
