Modern methods of venous system visualization: Piragov Centre practices

In this article we give an overview of Piragov Centre practices in computed tomographic venography and magnetic resonance venography applied in diagnostics of deep venous thrombosis and postthrombotic syndrome. Often, results of ultrasound Duplex and contrast venography are ambiguous and therefore for correct diagnostics it is required to apply other methods of diagnostic. The most modern and informative methods of venous thrombosis and postthrombotic syndrome diagnostics are computed tomographic venography and magnetic resonance venography.
