Contemporary approaches to the concept of sovereignty

In this article the contemporary approaches of Russian and foreign researchers to the contemporary determination of the content of the concept of sovereignty have been considered. The article pays special attention to the reasons for the transformation of the concept of sovereignty in the modern world, the degree of influence of various world processes on it, as well as the future state of the concept. The author concludes that the problem of the modern state of sovereignty still attracts the attention of scientists, and the debates on it continue.
