The article explores current methods of personnel management in the hotel industry, emphasizing their role in ensuring the competitiveness of hotels in the modern market. Aspects such as strategic human resource planning, motivational mechanisms, professional development programs, and the introduction of digital solutions are considered. Special attention is paid to the impact of these approaches on the quality of service and customer satisfaction. Based on the analysis of scientific papers and practical examples, recommendations for optimizing personnel management are proposed. It has been established that in the context of global changes and rising expectations of guests, effective staff management is becoming a crucial factor in the success of hotels, which makes the research topic especially significant. It was found out that the professional development of the staff occupies a central place. Hotels that invest in training receive more competent staff who are able to respond promptly to guest requests. It was determined that retraining programs in the context of the pandemic have helped many hotels to retain staff and adapt to new realities. At the same time, the introduction of digital technologies, such as time management systems or online learning platforms, simplifies personnel management and increases its efficiency.
