Up-to date view to petroleum and gas deposits forming

The article observes the solution of hydrocarbon deposits forming problems by up-to date petroleum and gas geology and geochemistry. It is shown, that the established regularities of petroleum systems generation and phasic development of petroleum and gas forming processes created the base of objective prognosis on the different stages of geological exploration.It is noticed that deep and ultradeep drilling made it possible to reveal specific peculiarities of petroleum and gas deposits forming at the greater depth, that promoted the new direction in geology - «deep petroleum and gas geology».
