Modern problems of adaptation of schizophrenic patients

This article discusses the current issues of social, psychological and biological adaptation of patients with schizophrenia, analyzes the main mechanisms of adaptation and the types of adaptive behavior, examines and compares the factors contributing to or impeding the adaptation process. Important attention is paid to predict the degree of adaptation recovery of schizophrenic patients. Based on recent research presented comprehensive rehabilitation programs to this contingent of the mentally ill. 15 references utilized.
