Modern problems of functioning of regional banks: Russian and foreign experience of their solution

Modern regional banks are experiencing difficult times, being influenced by many negative factors that ultimately affects their ability to support the development of the real economy, and especially small and medium-sized entrepreneurship. There is therefore a need to seriously rethink and transform development strategies regional banking institutions, as well as develop and adopt legislative, organizational and economic measures efforts not only credit institutions but also the active participation of national banks and politicians, so that modern regional banks were able to significantly increase its role in economic growth. Approach to fulfilling this essential task in Russia and abroad is different in both substance and form, which affects the efficiency of decision making and action.
