The development, application and dissemination of effective socio-cultural practices to support folk traditional culture and traditional cultural values is an important task of cultural and educational institutions serving the interests of society and the state. Despite the large number of events held, not everyone manages to become a bright event in the cultural life of the region, to attract the attention of the younger generation. Highly qualified work of specialists who possess both classical and modern information and computer technologies can contribute to the dialogue of experts in the field of folk traditional culture with the modern generation. Some modern socio-cultural practices developed and implemented by specialists and creative teams of the Omsk region convincingly demonstrate their success, arousing sincere interest among the population and youth. Russian Russian Culture Academy Cultural and Educational Forum, Forum of the Border Territories of the Russian Federation and CIS countries, film-concert-performance of the Omsk State Russian Folk Choir "Ermak. Legend of Siberia" and others. Important components of such practices are technologies of socio-cultural design, a combination of various forms and means of ideological and emotional impact, strict adherence to certain goals and objectives of a particular project, thoughtful motivation of participants, broad public awareness of the upcoming event, partnership between authorities and subjects of socio-cultural activities, resource provision, reliance on scientific knowledge and competent personnel.
