Modern trends and ways of development of domestic tourism in Russia under sanctions

The article analyzes the consequences of economic sanctions and the post-pandemic period for the current state of the tourism industry. The study of statistical data is aimed at identifying the degree of influence of these factors in order to determine further actions to maintain and improve market indicators. The author, relying on data from various tourism organizations and consultants, presents illustrative digital indicators reflecting the decline in international tourist flow and changing requirements. The main conclusions of the article emphasize the need to forecast the development of the tourism sector within the framework of the tourism development strategy until 2035, as well as the importance of strengthening the positions of Russian regions in this industry.
