Current trends in the Russian oil and gas industry

The article is devoted to the analysis of current trends in the development of the Russian oil and gas industry. The revenue and expenditure parts of the federal budget of 2024 in relation to the receipt of oil and gas revenues were analyzed, growth trends were revealed in relation to the indicators of 2023. It has been shown that the activities aimed at resolving issues of restoring gas production volumes are the work of enterprises in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, where gas production volumes have a positive trend - there is an increase of about 9%, a significant increase was recorded in the Irkutsk region (almost 2 times), which is due to the development of the Kovykta field. Some actual problems of oil and gas complex development and measures to solve them are presented.
