Modern trends in the character and assessment of labor

This article discusses the features of changing the nature of labor, wage dynamics under the influence of various factors. The analysis of statistical data on the level of wages in the industry, intersectoral, regional context and at the international level. The nature of labor is estimated, it is proved that creative intellectual work is becoming increasingly important. As a result, it was revealed that for the Russian economy a strong trend is a deep differentiation of wages. This contributed to the deterioration of the situation of the majority of the working population and led to social inequality in society. Along with this, a deterioration in the quality of the labor force and low reproduction of human capital can be traced. It is noted that age-related workers are reduced not only labor productivity, but also the possibility of creative thinking. Summarizing the results of the work, it can be noted that in the economy there is a deformed nature of inequality in wage levels; uneven competitiveness of workers by age; change in cognitive function over the course of work. In order to prevent the formation of low labor costs and underestimation of skilled labor, it is proposed to conduct an active state policy in the field of labor.
