Uveitis in juvenile idiopathic arthritis is characterized by a chronic sluggish course, the development of severe complications leading to blindness and low vision in children. Reduced vision in uveitis associated with juvenile idiopathic arthritis varies from 0.4 in 13-26% to 0.1 in 5-9%, up to complete loss of visual functions. Eye pathology in juvenile idiopathic arthritis is a very urgent and extremely complex problem that requires timely treatment. For its successful solution, close cooperation of ophthalmologists, rheumatologists and pediatricians. Treatment of inflammatory diseases of the choroid in children is an urgent problem of modern ophthalmology. Very often, it is not possible to identify the cause of uveitis, especially at the first signs of it. Therefore, timely treatment of inflammatory pathology of the vascular tract is especially important to prevent the development of complications and improve the outcome of the disease.
