Contemporary ethno-religious extremism in the Northern Caucasus: institutional factors of development

The article deals with the institutional factors of ethnic and religious extremism development. The author emphasizes the need to improve the institutional technologies in the sphere of extremism prevention. It is concluded that nongovernmental organizations have an important role in the reformation of the ethno-confes-sional system.
