The current status of red-book species of predatory and herbivorous mammals of Azerbaijan

Basis of this report formed the materials collected in the major areas of leopard, lynx, striped hyena, brown bear, roe deep, red deer, gazelle, chamois, wild goat and muflon in Azerbaijan. They discussed the status, former and current ranges, reason for reducing the population and habitat, conservation of these species in the country. Works were carried out with financial support from the Foundation for the Advancement of Science President of Azerbaijan.
