Modern terrorism in the North Caucasus: reasons, manifestations, counteraction directions

The article defines the main reasons and manifestations of terrorism, indicates directions of counteraction to terrorism in the republics of the North Caucasus (since 2005 until present). The paper determines the efficiency factors of counteracting terrorism in the North Caucasus. The article provides recommendations to the authorities of the Russian Federation in the field of countering terrorism.
