This article discusses the experience of creating a geological model of an oil deposit of the Middle Jurassic deposits of the Tyumen Formation (reservoir U4) using the Smolyanoye oil field as an example. The tasks to be solved using three-dimensional models are the estimation of hydrocarbon reserves, the justification for laying new wells, monitoring the development of reserves, assessing the impact of the operation of injection and producing wells, and much more. Thus, the construction of three-dimensional geological models of deposits should allow achieving the maximum economic effect from a more complete extraction of hydrocarbon reserves from the reservoirs through optimization and management of the field development process.
