Consideration is given to advantages of the Sea Launch sea-based integrated launch vehicle. The paper presents the purpose and main performance data of the launch platform, assembly/cammand ship, Zenit-3SL racket with DM-SL upper stage. It describes prelaunch processing specifics, lift-off loads applied an the ship, crew actions after launch, racket launch and flight control. Results of commercial launches of the integrated launch vehicle are provided from 1999 up to the present day.
