The creation of legal clinics in secondary vocational educational institutions

Legal clinics that function in educational institutions graduating lawyers have long proved their necessity. Nevertheless, according to the current legislation of the Russian Federation, legal clinics are established in educational institutions of higher professional education. It follows that students are deprived of these provisions in secondary vocational schools where there is legal training. At the same time, it is well known that the provision of educational services in secondary vocational schools in our country is currently at a fairly high level. However, in spite of qualitative students training by professional educational institutions that train specialists of middle level, which is aimed at developing theoretical knowledge, there is no practical training of future specialists in these institutions. Accordingly, the above-mentioned educational institutions are deprived of such a powerful tool as a legal clinic that helps students develop the skills of applying theoretical knowledge in practice. Therefore, the need is obvious to introduce a program of legal clinic into the educational process of secondary vocational schools.
