Organization, institutional structure and activities of Soviet mounted militia Of pskov province in 1918-1920

The article covers questions of organization and activities of mounted militia of Pskov province during the Civil War of 1918-1920. The author discusses problems, which the soviet authorities faced during establishing mounted militia in the province, and explains the main directions of the mounted militia’s activities. The article is based upon previously unpublished data from St. Petersburg Central State Archives and State Archives of Pskov Province.
