The creation of the reserve fund of plants of the natural flora in the Volgograd region at the territory of state budgetary institution “Volgograd Regional Botanical Garden” (on the basis of some species of plants)

The system of creation of the reserve fund of the natural flora was firstly developed for the Volgograd region and Volgograd regional botanical garden. This system is not only directed to the conservation of rare and endangered species of plants but it also considers the use of the reserve fund as the plant nursery. It opens new prospects for the use of introduced plants not only in the extreme circumstances but also for planting, commercial sales and implementation in different ecosystems. The important aspect is the support capacity of qualitative planting material and the widening of the fund of different species, providing the invariable development of regional biodiversity and the improvement of ecological situation in the region.
