Creation of inspector service under astrakhan port customs to control quality of «German» goods exported to Persia

The article dwells upon the little studied problem concerning to the quality control of European goods exported from Russia to Oriental countries in the XVIII century and in particular to Inspector Service established under Astrakhan Customs in the second half of the XVIII century. The article deals with the prehistory of this - appearance the inspectors in Petersburg in 1718. Based on the documents of State Archives of Astrakhan Oblast the author shows formation of the new Service of Astrakhan Port Custom.
