Creation of a superlattice of silicon atoms on the surface of a thin polymer film

This article discusses the electronic, optical, mechanical and thermal properties of silicon superlattices, using quantum chemical calculations, three methods for constructing a silicon superlattice on the surface of a polymer matrix are proposed. Electron-energy spectra are constructed and the band gap width is determined.
