Development of intragene DNA-marker for rice blast resistance gene Pi-b and its using in practical breeding

Intragene codominant DNA-marker for rice blast resistant gene Pi-b was developed. Preliminary test proved its efficiency for gene's allele's identification. Using this marker, program for Pi-b gene introgression into Russian rice varieties Khazar and Jantar now is carrying out. Backcrossing lines BC| with Pi-b gene have been obtained.
