Rescue archaeological excavations of 2016 in Kondinsk district of Khanty-Mansi autonomous okrug - Yugra

In 2016 rescue archaeological excavations were carried out in the river Konda basin. Research focused on the site Sotnik-3, located on the right bank of Konda below Leushinsky Tuman and in the ensemble of monuments at the mouth of the river Sumpanya. It is very swampy terrain without exits to the surface lithified rocks. During the rescue operations at the sites studied cultural layer and archaeological structures in the alignment of land allocation and neighboring areas; received materials on the history of the local population in the Mesolithic period - the Late Bronze Age; refined border areas of the sites; the character and extent of the destruction of the cultural layer within the boundaries of the claimed territory; it identified the possibility for the business.
