Specific features of youth extremism in the North Caucasus

The article considers the main reasons for the emergence and development of youth extremism both in the Russian Federation in general and in the North Caucasus region. The author investigates the main attributive features of the youth religious extremism and the issues of combating it. By case study of the special operation in Nalchik in October 2005 the author discusses the power methods of terrorism and extremism counteraction in Russia.
