There are specific and non-specific effects of noise on humans. The specific effect of noise is reflected in the hearing organs and manifests itself as an occupational disease - sensorineural hearing loss. The non-specific effect of noise is manifested in the damage to the body as a whole and can lead to the development of serious health problems, such as: neuroses, irritability, memory impairment, decreased concentration of attention and reaction speed, increased blood pressure, disturbances in the rhythm of the heartbeat, diseases of the digestive system, and life expectancy (with regular exposure).
