Applying such modern research approaches as a system-subject and system-synergetic ones the author studies a concept of social and psychological adaptation. The article covers specific features of students’ adaptive interactions in the “personality - sociocultural environment" system. The author introduces and substantiates a conception of “zone of social and psychological adaptation" and its typology.
