Pricing specifics domestic market for imported polyethylene

This article is devoted to the problem of accurate pricing of domestic low-pressure polyethylene in the situation of importing foreign analogues and the threat of loss of domestic market share under pressure from these imported analogues. The article provides an up-to-date analysis of low-pressure polyethylene grades imported into Russia for 7 months of 2022, indicates the physical and chemical indicators of each grade and determines the degree of influence of these grades on the domestic market. A detailed analysis of imported raw materials is proposed to determine spot prices of domestic raw materials for a new calendar period.
