Specific factors of oil and gas companies’ investment attractiveness

The oil and gas industry has always played a significant role in the development of the world economy. The ongoing changes in the balance of supply and demand in the fossil fuel market threaten the stability of the further development of the industry. That is why, from the position of an investor, it is important to adequately assess all the risks that exist and may arise in relation to a representative of the oil and gas industry. In this article, the author examines the general and specific factors of investment attractiveness of companies in the oil and gas industry, classifies indicators depending on the nature of the impact on the company's activities, and also analyzes the current data and prospects for the development of the industry. As a result, the author assessed the current factors of investment attractiveness of oil and gas enterprises at the global level and for Russia in particular.
