The article considers a continuity of a traditional wicker doll in the contemporary decorative and applied arts. The author describes artistic features of the Altaic wicker doll image and methods of its fabrication and decoration. The natural materials are integrated to create a doll image. The scientific relevance of the research is that it analyzes trends, areas and stylistic features of the dolls weaved with natural materials and which are only handmade.
