Specificity and role of diplomatic discourse in the international communication process

The article is aimed to consider the characteristic features of diplomatic discourse from the point of view of linguistics. In the course of the study, the most typical features of diplomatic discourse and its distinctive features are considered, such as the presence of specific participants in communication, specific goals and functions of communication.
