Specific features of information warfare of Al-Qaeda and ISIL terrorist organizations outlawed in Russia

The article studies the methods of information warfare used by such terrorist organizations as al-Qaeda and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. The structural and functional aspects of these actors are discussed. The authors believe that the methods of information warfare are differentiated according to the structure of terrorist organizations. The article considers the main focuses of the information warfare of the Islamic State and al-Qaeda, and suggestions on countering them.
