The article compares the current integration processes in the EU and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The monetary and financial integration in the EEU is evaluated. Macroeconomic indicators of Eurozone are calculated. The authors consider the challenges of the integration processes, the ways of meeting them and the new areas of growth.
