Specificity of use of special knowledge in the field of medicine in the investigation of cases of inadiquate execution by medical workers of their professional responsibilities

Introduction: the article discusses legal and methodological problems arising from the use of special medical knowledge during the investigation of the "professional" crimes of medical workers. The steady increase in the number of criminal cases related to the professional activities of medical workers, the need to use of special medical knowledge in the investigation of such crimes indicates the need for a systematic study of the peculiarities of their use, analysis of the structure of violations by experts allowed to a research, defects in the professional activity of doctors and secondary medical staff. Materials and methods: in the course of the study, regulatory legal acts and methodological literature on this topic were studied, materials from 96 criminal cases related to the professional activities of medical workers, a retrospective analysis of the conclusions of the forensic medical examination was carried out.
