Specificity of news programs on the YouTube platform

The article is devoted to the consideration of the specific features of the presentation of news content on YouTube video hosting. The transformation of the news format is analyzed using the materials of the weekly news digests by Alexey Pivovarov (“Editorial. News”) and Ksenia Sobchak (“Beware: news!”). The genre and thematic originality of the new media product is revealed. Special attention is paid to the consideration of the pictorial and expressive features of the vocabulary of the leaders, as well as the forms and style-forming techniques used in the programs.
