The specific features of customs services: the Russian experience

In order to develop a methodological approach to evaluating the efficiency of customs authorities’ activities, it is necessary to identify the services provided by the Customs Service. This article presents the results of a study of public services offered by the customs authorities of the Russian Federation, analyses the functions that are carried out by the Customs Services, as well as classifies the customs services. The data obtained can be used while creating the unified register of the customs services of the Russian Federation.
