Specificity of refractive hagiograpfic tradition in the modern orthodox prose (based on the novel "Pop" A. Segen's and the story "The island" D. Sobolev's)

The article is devoted to rethinking traditional hagiographic text in modern Orthodox prose. Defining characteristic of the lives focuses on the interpretation of the righteous way in domestic works: in films and literature. In the process of comparing is the estimated transformation of hagiographic tradition in the works of A. Segen and D. Sobolev: the heroes are not idealized, are shown in their daily lives, spiritually evolving throughout the story.
