In the article the short review of the literature on psychosemantics as an area of investigating of various forms of existence of values in individual consciousness is given, the basic methods of theconstruction of subjective semantic spaces are considered. The importance of application of the methods of experimental psychosemantics in ethnopsychology, which are among the most adequate methods directed on studying of system of values of the ethnic person, is affirmed.
