Specificity of work of animal welfare public organizations Tomsk and Tomsk region

In This paper considers the specificity of animal protection work public organizations of Tomsk and Tomsk region. Also focuses on the typologies of these organizations and the correlation of their activities in the context of the theory of social action of Max Weber. The research was conducted by semi-formalized interviews with leaders and representatives of animal protection governmental organizations of Tomsk and Tomsk region in order to identify the causes of animal welfare activities and the establishment of the organization, their objectives and the currently existing problems.
