Specifics of customs and logistic mechanisms in the system of foreign trade of Russia

The emergence of customs logistics as a special direction of knowledge is connected with the increase of the role of customs authorities in the global logistic chains of the system of foreign trade. It occurs because the management of export-import streams is currently impossible without optimum interaction of the enterprise with customs authorities. The forms of this interaction constantly change and improve that is connected with continuous scientificand-technical advance in the organization of foreign trade and customs affairs. There is a special institutional environment in the system of foreign trade relations in Russia, as well as in each country of the world. It causes the formation of special customs and logistic mechanisms of interaction of participants of foreign trade and customs. Therefore the research of the specifics of this interaction in Russia is of special interest. The authors of the article specify the concept «customs and logistic mechanism», consider the forms of customs and logistic mechanisms in the system of foreign trade. They also review domestic social and economic literature on the problems of customs logistics. Besides, they describe the specifics of customs and logistic mechanisms in foreign trade of Russia and draw the corresponding conclusions.
