This article is devoted to the study of the specifics in tourism business. The article defines such concepts as "marketing" and "marketing mix". The main aspects are considered, including seasonality and its impact on prices, demand and tourist destination, the role of competition and prices in the tourist market. The features of tourist services are also identified and their characteristics are given.
