The specific nature of female crime and the specific nature of working with convicted women

In our country an urgent task today is to consider the factors that influence on women's criminal behavior, the consequences for society and the woman herself, including issues of recidivism and childrearing. The article touches upon legislation aimed at correcting women, as well as rehabilitation and resocialisation measures implemented in the Russian penal system. The article analyses the problems and challenges that women face in places of deprivation of liberty, as well as the role of social workers and psychologists in their correction and social adaptation.
